    Description

I have a oil filter adapter for 1978 and up Oldsmobile V8 engines to allow the use of standard full size Chevrolet oil filters to increase oil flow and minimize pressure loss.
Shown in the photo for comparison is the standard Olds oil filter compared to the larger std Chevrolet filter.
This was custom machined by Joe Mondello for use on an Olds 403 engine in a Firebird Trans Am endurance racer.
This will work on 307, 350, 403 and Diesel Olds engines.
This gets rid of the restrictive puny-ass oil filters (Fram PH3429 & AC PF45) that Olds' use and allows you to use standard full size A/C Delco PF25 and Fram PH30 filters or the extra length Chevy truck filters A/C Delco PF35 or Fram PH13A.
This was machined from a solid block of billet aluminum, was epoxy painted and a threaded stainless steel spigot machined for the filter to screw onto. Thread size is 13/16" - 16 tpi.
The billet adaptor screws onto your existing oil filter mount and the Chevy filter screws onto the supplied stainless spigot.
You will need to verify that you have adequate clearance for the 3-3/4" diameter of the adaptor and the larger Chevy filter.

    :(
    - my shipping options are quite limited these days resulting in slower and more costly shipping.
    - I don't know why : but it is quite common for items to sit at USPS distribution centers for 3 - 4 weeks before they continue on to their destination - especially for the eastern states :)
    - Sooo although Ebay may state that delivery will take 11-23 business days - it possibly could take longer.
That is why I now show an extended handling time of 5 days (I do and will actually ship next day)
    - Ebay is hanging sellers out "to dry" letting unreasonable buyers make delivery demands (initiate un-received item cases) on sellers without any acknowledgement of the current shipping situation !
    - If you can not deal with an extended delivery time frame - do not buy this item. Amen !
FYI - Ebay will be cancelling all my listings June 15th.
Sooo you have exactly 2 weeks to buy this item before it disappears :(
